Weekend Goodness

A beautiful wedding gift we got in the mail from some of our Alaskan friends

All my friend, Sarah, and I wanted was a nice glass of wine.  After googling "how to remove a cranky cork" "how do I get a stubborn wine cork out of a bottle" and finally, "tips for a stuck cork" and trying out some suggestions , the cork stayed stuck. We resorted to cutting the cork, pushing it in, and using this "cork free" pourer Sarah has.

Dan surprised me with a donut. I love surprise donuts :)

Our vacuum started smoking and smelled like burning rubber when I was vacuuming a few days ago. My dad said the belt probably broke. He said it was easy to fix- just take off the bottom and replace the belt. So that's what I did! If you need your vacuum fixed, I'm your girl!

This guy has been in the mood for a dirty martini for weeks! He finally got one when we went out for dinner on Saturday.

Thanks teenage boy for throwing sticks for Nella and Maggie!
It was SO slippery at the dog park. Dan fell, I fell, and Nella ran so fast she bumped into the fence because she couldn't stop. Maggie was the only careful one in the bunch.

We had family brunch at our house this week.
This week should be a good one: Spring break, possibly above freezing weather, time with friends, family, and St. Patrick's day is getting closer! Happy week to you!
