Today is Thursday and it feels like Tuesday. It wasn't as cold as it was yesterday. I made posters of what learners look like (you know: listening ears, eyes on the person talking, hands to yourself, thinking brains) and one is a boy, one is a girl. My 4K-ers asked what their names are and when I said they didn't have names, there was outrage. So of course we had to name them before we could move on with our discussion. The two new "learners" in our room can now be referred to by name: Michael Jackson and Beyonce. I work with some hilarious and awesome 4 year olds. I overheard a Kindergarten English language learned singing, "you are so bee-you-tee-ful to meeeee!" and it was adorable. I wore my stripe-y socks today.
I had some left over pumpkin puree that I needed to use up, so I made some pumpkin pasta for dinner.
